Paper-Kiln-Firing
This kind of firing belongs to "primitive firing techniques".
The biscuited vessels are packed together with metal-salts and sodium-hydroxid and straw on a metal-grate (left picture). All over this there is build a wood pile (right picture).
Now a thick cover of sliped paper is build over the vessels and wood pile (left picture). The paper-kiln burns about 24 hours. After cooling the kiln can be opened and emptied (right picture).
